COMMUNICATION

As I am sure you can imagine, communicating with 85 people is going to be a challenge. We want to make sure we get to connect with all of you throughout the week, and that you all know you are welcome to join in with us.

To make our communication and planning with you a bit easier, we have made a WhatsApp group chat that you can subscribe to. Please add yourselves to the group chat so we can keep you in the loop with information pertaining to the trip.

With 85 people on the chat it might get a bit busy, however don't forget you can silence the group chat notifications and check in on it from time to time.

PREPARING FOR THE WEEK

Make sure you have a Valid Passport
Show up at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight time
Bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, sun glasses, and flip flops.
The staff at the resort appreciate tips, so we suggest you bring plenty of $1 USD bills

ENTERING MEXICO

Before entering Mexico we all will have to fill out a Mexican Tourist Card, which requires basic details of your passport, health history and Criminal record if any. This Card will be provided to everyone when we are on the plane headed to Mexico.

GETTING BACK INTO CANADA

The government is still requiring ALL TRAVELLERS, to prove their Vaccinations when returning back to Canada
- If you are fully vaccinated (2 Approved Doses) you will be required to show proof of this using the ArriveCAN app.
  - If a child is under the age of 5 years old, but is accompanied by a parent that is fully vaccinated, the child is exempt from pre-entry testing, arrival test and day 8 test.
  - Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children 5 years of age or older must provide a valid pre-entry test result, even if they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
  - Children under 5 years of age are not required to test regardless of their vaccination status
Within 72 hours of entering back into Canada, you will need to fill out the ArriveCAN form outlining your reasons for entering back into Canada
Fully vaccinated travellers may still be chosen for mandatory randomized testing upon arrival into Canada

If you are travelling from a different country other than Canada, like the United States, your travel requirements will be different. Please make sure to check on those requirements before travelling
